“Faith, Finance and Fitness” has been Tia Edwards’ motto since 2015 when she was 

thrust into entrepreneurship by a rescinded job offer for which she and her husband 

relocated their family of six. This pivot point was exactly what Tia needed to spring 

forward into her deepest belief that the only way to repay the hardworking generations 

before her was to have more, do more and give more than they ever could. As a 

financial services entrepreneur, Tia has become accustomed to freedom from financial bondage, including how health choices impact quality of life. Her daily mission is to bring healing to the financially unwell, providing not only curative and preventative education and tools to the community, but financial options that help stabilize families. 

Background:

A native of Jackson, North Carolina, Tia Edwards grew up in a wonderful home, with 

her parents and older brother. While she was a shy and quiet child, her father, being a 

welder for 40 years and her mother was a hard worker in manufacturing for many 

years, they raised her to work, and to use what she had to create a life from 

which she didn’t need escape and refuge. Having obtained a Master’s in Human 

Services coupled with hands-on financial services training, she is uniquely qualified to

counsel and guide individuals and families to financial 

freedom. 

No longer the timid and introverted little girl, Tia Edwards is an outgoing and vocal 

entrepreneur and advocate. Her passion for giving, and seeing others experience 

freedom has led her to train thousands of entrepreneurs on establishing credible, 

effective and lucrative business practices. Further, she counsels entrepreneur spouses 

on how to support the family vision, and establish a home life balance that would 

optimize child development. Outside of the business Tia enjoys traveling, community 

service and church. More than anything she is all about family, and finds joy in 

any family gathering from a backyard campout to a vacation. 

It’s not all a bed of roses though, Tia Edwards will be the first to tell you she wasn’t 

always gung-ho about entrepreneurship, afterall with four kids at home a mother’s 

focus is on stability and consistency. Yet, without faith it is impossible to please God 

and experience the abundance for which He has predestined His children. After 

uprooting the family only to have her husband’s job fall through, Tia reluctantly stepped into entrepreneurship with her husband. As a result, her greatest problem, financial insecurity, would become the starting point of her freedom, with a leap of faith, and in the first 30-days they earned $8000. That’s when the lightbulb went off, if her family could start and thrive on this journey, they could help others do the same, and Secure Financial Partners was born. Together with her husband, Tia Edwards provides families with realistic and sustainable options to create, expand and preserve 

wealth.
